As MWC 2018 World Mobile Congress dates are confirmed and it is going to happen from 26 February to 1 March and we are just a month away from this mega event. Loads of new phones are expected to be launch in this year.
What we saw at MWC 2017
Last year MWC 2017 bunch of new phones and devices were launched like LG G6, Samsung Galaxy S8, Sony Xperia XZ and Huawei P10. The most exciting part was Nokia made its return to the mobile market after years with the launch of Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and legendary phone Nokia 3310.
Lenovo unveiled Lenovo Tab 4 8, Lenovo 4 10 and its Plus version, Samsung launched Tab s3 a hybrid tablet.
MWC 2017 also brought some smart wearable experience as Huawei launched Huawei Watch 2, Huawei Watch 2 classic, LG watch sport and LG watch style.
What we can expect at MWC 2018
Time is ticking it is not much far, the event is going to happen on 26 February – 1 March 2018 in Barcelona Spain. All the exhibitor companies are setting up to launch new smart devices and phones. Here is the list of Flagship phones that are expecting to be launch at MWC 2018.
1. Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus
Back a year Samsung gave us Galaxy S8 at MWC 2017 and later launched its S8 plus version. Likewise last year it is expected that Samsung will launch its successor version Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 plus at upcoming this event.
It is reported that Samsung got patent for under-screen fingerprint sensor and is expected to arrive in S9. If it is so everyone’s eyes are on this device launch. New Snapdragon 845 would also be the part of Galaxy S9.
2. Sony XZ1 Premium
Last year Sony has launched Xperia XZ Premium, Xperia XA1, and Xperia XA1 smartphones and it is expected Sony will add more members to Xperia family this year XZ1 premium dual camera with sleek design bezel-less display 18:9 aspect ratio Techadvisor reports.

3. Nokia 1 and Nokia 3310 4g
Android Go is the lightweight version of Android Oreo (Android O) launched by Google to support low memory devices with optimized Android oreo features.
4. Huawei P11 or Huawei P20
Last year Huawei launched P10 with the bunch of great of features. This year some confusions are going about the successor of P10. It could be called P11 or P20 not exactly confirmed yet. It is rumored that the next successor of P10 will have 40-megapixel triple camera lens with face recognization feature.
5. LG G7
We saw LG G6 was the major launch of MWC 2017. Next successor of this device LG G7 is supposed to be launch at MWC 2018.
Appart from this some great Wearable smartwatches, iPad and some costly foldable phones are also could be the part of MWC 2018.
Critical Android and iOS bugs spotted in 2017
The Android Oreo and iOS 11 were the major updates that have been rolled out to the devices this year 2017. Although these new patches bringing the new features to the smartphones and tablets.
But sometimes with the install of new software updates, it disturbs the old functionality of the devices.Below you will find the list of Android and iOS bugs that have been spotted in 2017.
Letter “i” bug in iOS
This was the most irritating bug spotted after iOS 11.1 update. The users were not able to type the letter “i” through the keyboard both in iPhones and iPads. This bug converted the letter “i” into ? or A letter. The “i” is a very indispensable letter in English language and also the part of Apple products.
Apple fixed this after the bug reported.
911 dialing issue
In 2017 there a serious bug in OnePlus 5 devices that some users were not able to dial emergency number 911 on their smartphones. A user reported this bug on Reddit that device will reboot itself after dialing the 911 number and blocking users to reach emergency services. Oneplus rolled out 4.5.6 oxygen OS update to fix this issue.
Jelly Scrolling Effect
Few days after the launch of Oneplus 5 smartphones users encountered a weird bug jelly-like scrolling effect in their devices. In this Text and images were getting expansion and contraction while scrolling in opposite direction. According to XDA report, it was due to display panel were mounted in invert orientation
iOS crashing bug
After the iOS 11.1.2 update, a strange bug was reported on 2nd of this December month that iPhones crash repeatedly once the clock hits 12:15 am. The bug was caused by third-party apps that were sending local notifications related to reminders etc.
Apple released an emergency 11.1.2 patch to fix the problem just after the hours’ bug reported.
Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL rebooting
Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL device users faced a serious bug that it resulted in the devices rebooting randomly. Screen burn in also was the critical bug that was reported in various Pixel units.
