Qualcomm announces the Snapdragon 845 processor chip
Qualcomm officially introduces next version of the heart of devices Snapdragon 845 processor during annual Technology summit 2017 in Hawaii. The new Snapdragon chip is designed to power flagship smartphones in the next year 2018.
New Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 will be the successor of the Snapdragon 835. Snapdragon 845 will cover up the smartphones in next year as well as it is expected in Windows 10 laptops based on ARM architecture.
The chip will have latest X20 LTE modem to support Gigabyte LTE speeds with better power efficiency and improved image processing. Qualcomm is hosting its annual conference this week and it is expected full details about new chip will be announced at this meet.
According to the reports, Xiaomi M7 could be the first flagship device to have Snapdragon 845. It is also rumored Samsung S9 could have Snapdragon 845.
Mobile data traffic in India will grow 11 times by 2023: Ericsson
India is quickly adopting new technologies and moving towards digitalization. Total mobile data traffic is growing day by day of India and according to Ericsson Mobility Report, it will grow 11 times by 2023.
The monthly mobile data usage will increase to 18GB from 3.9GB which is 5 times approx in 2023. By the end of third quarter of 2017, there are 1.185 billion registered smartphones in India.
“We expect LTE to be most dominant wireless technology in India by 2023,” said Nitin Bansal managing director of Ericsson India.
LTE technology is becoming very active in India with 17% of subscribers are using this. According to Ericsson Mobility Report, this number will be increased to 60% across India in 2013.
The company is planning to deploy its 5G project in 2019. Reports revealed 5G technology will cover 20% of the world with 1 billion subscribers by 2023.
Apple Support launches a Youtube channel to provide device tutorials
Apple has launched an Apple Support Youtube channel which will provide iOS tips & tricks to users. The channel was registered on 5 October 2017 is now uploading a series of How to videos tips that customers can perform on their iPhones and iPads.
The Apple Support channel has a list of 10 videos for now, and the length of all the videos about 1-2 minutes explaining different features of iOS with full English captions for accessibility.
